We often say to our guests at Holy Cross, “Every one who steps through these beautiful red doors has been brought here by Jesus.” The same holds true for all who visit our Web Site. So, - in the name of Jesus, welcome to Holy Cross.
Life at Holy Cross is a rich and full experience – because Jesus is at the center. At the top of this page you see the logo for Holy Cross. Our logo is a visual depiction of how the Lord creates and nurtures his church. The Bible says the first Christians “devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. --- And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42-47. In these words we see the Lord graciously gather and nurture his disciples in Worship – the breaking of bread and prayers, in Discipleship – the devotion to the apostles teaching, in Evangelism – the Lord adding to their number day by day and, in Fellowship – as they worshipped, learned and followed Jesus together. At the very center you see what looks like an X placed over a P. These are the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ. As we said, Jesus is at the center, and through him, God graciously creates new people.
For every generation at Holy Cross, Jesus has done the same thing – the gospel thing. He has called us from sin to forgiveness; from death to life. To every generation Jesus comes as the only one who creates new people in grace.
As you “surf” this Web Site you will see Jesus in action. But there is more to see, so we invite you to step through our beautiful red doors.
We invite to come and see Jesus in action - to come and be made new in his grace.
