The Bible is God’s gift; it is his God-breathed Word given to transform our lives as disciples of Jesus Christ. We invite you to select one of these Bible studies and join the adventure of following Jesus. See When and Where for times and locations.
Colossians, taught by Assisting Pastor Jeff Gibbs: In only four chapters, Saint Paul tells us that Christ is even greater than we could have imagined, and that even though the world says differently, we can know that our life in Christ is everything we need.
Genesis, taught by Al and Debbie Wolf: In his first book, Moses shows us the creative hand of God. He also shows us our own sinful, destructive hand. But God does not leave us to our own designs, he promises us “the seed of the woman”, namely Jesus. Genesis is a book of beginnings and a book of God’s grace – for you.
Life in Christ, taught by Pastor Tim Wilkins is a 10 week class of basic Christian discipleship designed for people beginning their life with Jesus or beginning their life at Holy Cross. Have you been around for a while and want to refresh your Life in Christ? The class is for you too. Join us and bring a friend.
Ephesians, taught by Lay Minister Bob Lehr: Did you know that God chose you before the creation of the world to be adopted as his child; to be holy and blameless? He’s done all this and more. Learn what it means to be alive in Christ and alive in his church.
The LifeLight Bible Study, taught by Pastor Tim Wilkins is designed to provide an in-depth study of God’s Word. Participants work through Bible study questions during the week and come together to encourage each other on Wednesdays. The afternoon group meets at 1:00 to study the New Testament book of Romans. The evening group meets at 7:00 to study the New Testament Gospel of Matthew. Both groups meet in the church fellowship hall.
